GLBT Services
GLBT Services and the Rainbow Resource Center, collaborative programs within the Division of Student Affairs, are resources for GLBT students and their allies at the University of Maine. The staff advises and advocates for students, as well as provides the greater campus community with educational opportunities that raise awareness about GLBT issues and concerns. Offerings include classroom presentations, programs, workshops, trainings, a speakers bureau, printed publications, and a resource website. GLBT Services is located in the basement of the Memorial Union across from the Wade Student Leadership Center. The RRC has an abundant amount of literature, multimedia and resources available for use Mondays through Fridays during the school years.

Women's Resource Center
The purpose of the Women's Resource Center (WRC) is to promote educational access and equity for all women, to provide an alternative and complement to existing services and facilities, and to further the collective and individual goals of women regardless of race, national origin, ethnicity, color, age, physical ability, sexual orientation, religious or political beliefs, social or economic status, or occupation. The center provides services and programs to promote and maintain a positive and supportive climate conducive to women's personal and professional development. The WRC is located in Fernald Hall in room 102. The current director of the WRC is Sharon Barker who can be reached at [email protected] or by phone at (207) 581-1501.

Rainbow Resource Center!
The Rainbow Resource Center (RRC) is located in the basement of the Union. It is a great place to come meet new people, check out books, magazines, and movies, or come find a nice place to do homework.
